Temp 44 (WC 39) Wind 10 mph.
Original plan of sixty minutes at Easy Effort. Gait has felt a bit out of alignment last couple of days and this should help with correction. Hear rain start just as I start to stretch before going out. Last minute gear adjustment. Steady rain starts to soak through wind pants pretty quick. Cannot see how exposing myself to these conditions for a prolonged period only three days before a race will have a net benefit. Tough Guy = Big Fool. Lap around the neighborhood, out for a lap around The Orchards, and bring it in. Wind pressing wet gear against skin has numbing effect, so not getting a good feel. Stretched the legs and did 9 x 22 incline / flat / decline bench press-push up super sets last night. Wife @ service club meeting tonight, so home, stretching/core, pasta, and hit the sack by 7:30.
