Temp 40 (WC 34) Wind 8 mph.

Forty @ Recovery Effort. Short and soft strides. Wiped myself out last week. Pace went south after about twenty minutes. No suprise. Books say 7-10 days before benefits of work kick in. As I monitor and review, I think I'm a 10-14 day guy. Not expecting anything this weekend, but do have couple of 5Ks and Mud N Gutz in the bank and have not raced on those. Not going to be too concerned about anything special in a 3.30 mile 5K anyways.

Next up is an evening run on Tuesday. 36 hours downtime. No running, no weights. Working on getting blood out of the shoes I intend to race in if it rains Saturday. Not having a lot of luck; just getting brighter red. May just have to gross everyone out.
