Temp 40 (37) Wind 4 mph.
AT Tempo on Track. Not sure exactly what's going on. Sharp and focused when working out. Lethargic and achy when not? Fell asleep between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. for second time in four days last night and didn't get up until morning alarm went off.
Slow trek to the track. 1.91 miles at 8:54 average pace. Take two laps to stride the straights, walk the turns, and clear randomly placed hurdles out of my way.
Good and bad tempo. Averaged 7:29 pace. Started too fast (legs hot from strides?). Couple of breakdowns and bouts of sloppiness last 600 meters or so. Pace began a slow fade after about 12:00 minutes. Did a real good job of staying in target aerobic zone and put minimal pounding on myself physically. Overall, maybe a B- this morning.
Slower return trip back to the house. Had a "riding the rims" feel to it. 1.80 miles at 9:35 average pace.
