Temp 61 Wind 3 mph. Humidity 80% Dew Point 55 degrees.

Five miles at Recovery Effort. Wanted to keep it a notch above a walk. Stride smooth for this pace? Hour went by fast. Can tell I did a Long Run yesterday. Lost discipline yesterday afternoon. Did not stretch. Fell asleep on couch and did not lay down and take formal power nap. While not junk-food by any means, three post-run meals not the quality needed to recover from 1200+ calorie workout.

Find myself thinking more about what races I want to do in October than focusing on Sunday. Event just not living up to expectations. Was going to be a "target race" for a big PR. Ended up breaking through first week of August, then got caught up in finishing race series strong. All that with the new screwed up course and fact it appears participation will be down (extended pre-registration), I'm just not feeling it yet. Will continue to go through the motions, train smart and be ready to go on race day. Only got to be into it for about 20 minutes...hope to find game day attitude when I see all the other runners.
