Temp 72 Winds Calm. Humidity 93% Dew Point 70 degrees.

Recovery Run. Much needed. Already a sauna out there today. Yesterday's heat waxed me. Home, ate and drank what I could stand, then went into a 2-hour coma. Double-nap. Stretching and moving around for a few hours after getting up enabled me to finish cutting the grass. Helped keep the blood flowing to the legs. Almost normal today. Although there is minor soreness and some fatigue, the C5000 plan is producing noticable deep strenght in the muscles and tendons. Can feel it all the way to the bone. Know its just a matter of staying with it, making sure there is enough cardio conditioning to carry it 5K, get the proper pre-race rest and prep, then go out and release the lion.

Lost about an hour of volume last week with race and heat. Need to make sure to get back to normal over next seven days.
