Temp 66 Winds Calm. Humid (93%) Dew Point 64 degrees. Fog developed in low areas.

Was on this sucker from step #1. Mid-9 pace until fifth mile. Progressed to low-9. Slowed a few seconds in mile six for some long climbs. Last five all sub-9 while on cruise control. Double-quality today. Two excellent Long Runs in back-to-back weeks.

Body appears to be adapted to running every day. Can take on pretty much any workout after 24-hour recovery. Two-a-days still a bit taxing, but good enough to accomplish their purpose. While on racing break, working at getting weight up to about 165 while hitting the weights to get strenght back up. Can drop back 3-5 pounds to race. Body seems to adapt better to increased exercise stress than shoving food down my pie hole every couple of hours.

Stay healthy! Checking calendar, have chance for four 45-50 mile weeks before Tamms 8-Miler. Then can add speed work back into mix for 3-5 5Ks starting mid-September and throughout October when weather is cool. Train smart, stay healthy!!

Crossed paths with Logan and Wynn who were out and at it by 6:00 am today...why those kids have ruled the CC scene last few years.
