Garmin measured 10.89 but last time I ran it (2011) it was 10.96 and I rounded it to 11, so did that here, too, for consistency. Everyone is getting about the same mileage, even though the RD says it's 11.2 (nope). Anyhow, I swear the first three miles are steeper! Last time I ran this I was in full marathon shape though, so being 10 years later and NOT in that kind of shape, I'm really happy with the time today. Beautiful day, too.
