Went out Sheep Creek and found plenty of ice and mud, with bike tracks (dang it!) so headed back by going up to Parks but that path hadn't been plowed (!) so went west towards Ester till I ran into more ice. So... headed back towards Geist and the snow/ice wasn't as bad as it looked at first, and the New Balance shoes did just fine. Right heel sore but not bad, right knee felt tweaks coming up the hill back to Butrovich. Hoping it all resolves on it's own this week. If not, will need to take more time off and take care of this.
