Textbook case in what not to do. Planned on a 100 minute run today, which I would have to do by myself, but no big deal. However I didn't prepare very well and I payed the price. Haven't been drinking enough, didn't eat before my run, didn't get enough sleep last night, woke up late so had to run in the heat. Started hurting 30-40 minutes in, figured it was just soreness from the workout yesterday (which it probably was). By 60 minutes though I was dying, everything hurt. I suffered through another 20 minutes before I started getting chills and decided to stop and walk home from there.

Pretty disappointing, but hopefully not a huge deal in the long run. Still got in an 80 minute long, most of it at a reasonable pace, putting me at 60+ for the week. Next week I will make sure I am fully hydrated and will run earlier when it is cooler. Will probably aim for 90 minutes but plan on adding on another 10 if I feel fine. Can hopefully fine someone to run with but no one seems to want to do their long run on Saturday.
