Easy run at Cutler Park with that bum Paul Cina. Went out and back to the second bridge with him in ~35 minutes which I will generously call close to 8' pace. Added on by in the nearby neighborhood to get to an hour - miles of 7:11, 6:59, 6:46, 3' @ 6:49. Was working a little to get a progression but it felt good. As planned, I went and found a lot of area races and put some of the ones that looked fun on my calendar, will pick out a few that I actually think I will go for. Excited.

Working hard to be disciplined about my diet. Good day today, except for two plates of Chinese at the all-hands meeting that really set me back. Made up for it with a lean dinner - tuna fish sandwich and an apple!

Increase your milk consumption, especially post run

30g of protein from milk after a run. Weight will get better with increased protein!

I cup of milk has 8g of protein... you think I should have 4 cups of milk after every run?? A little skeptical..

The calculation used in recovery formula is .3-.4 g/kg of body weight. The 12-16g is obviously for skinny girls!

I can't imagine 4 extra cups of liquid calories per day making it any easier to lose weight

I don't eat junky at home
