Notes

Joe Kelley workout at the Kelley's w/ Drew and Paul. Started w/ normal upper body warmup, leg swings, and drills up the driveway hill. Did a leg circuit: 21 35 lb 2 handed snatches, 1 min fast feet on the stairs, 12 physio ball hamstring curls, 10 barbell dead lifts (95 lbs), 21 35 lb 2 handed snatches, 1 min jump rope, 12 physio ball hamstring curls, 10 35 lb dumbell deadlifts with resistance between thighs. Then did 5 mixed grip pullups, 15 quarter squat DB push presses, 3 mixed grip pullups, and 8 95 lb barbell push press. Then did 10 10 lb medicine ball soccer throws each leg, and 15 then 10 pushups w/ 25 lb plate on back. Next did a core circuit: 10 ea. bent leg raises, 10 half supermen, 50 physio ball crunches, and 10 supermen. Then did 3 sets of 12 10 lb medicine ball slams. In between each set we jogged to the bottom of Sunset and then sprinted up to the top. Finished with 7 yoga poses: running knee raise, IT stretch, lying groin stretch, quad stretch, tree pose, eagle pose, and warrior 3.

Pretty tough workout, pullups tough and the hill sprints were killer. Felt pretty strong throughout though. Not bad coming after a 100 minute run. Will probably be sore tomorrow.
