First day in a long time that the right leg felt good right from the start.
Ran this solo since I didn't realize the big group was meeting at 5 AM. But running solo allows me to pinpoint the pace and I was shooting to keep it around 8:55.
I was still running pretty good physically at the end, but mentally I was exhausted, maybe from running it alone, so only ran 16 miles. But was pleased I could hold this steady pace even as it was warming to the low 70's and the stride was feeling pretty good.
Afternoon Update: Right femur felt a bit sore in the afternoon. Will do Sunday's run late in the day to give it a good 30+ hours to recover from today's 16 mile run.
