Decided to push the 16 mile long run to Sunday since it was 10 degree wind chill this morning.

Since this was two easy days in a row, added a couple miles to make up for some of the miles I lost on Wednesday with the sore abs.

8 easy miles felt good in the Newton's. They should work well for the upcoming half marathons in March.

Abs were sore to start with and I can always feel them some. What I noticed after 6 miles is that I am constantly holding my stomach in and my stomach does no expansion during the inhale. Probably been holding the stomach in for 30 years.

So on the last two miles I relaxed the abs and stomach muscles and let my stomach expand during the inhale and I could feel the difference.

Just a slight soreness in the upper thigh/hamstring similar to yesterday, but not too noticable.
