Happy New year!
I do feel blessed despite finishing the year injured - Hurt a tendon on 12/21 - Ignored it until 12/24 and had to tearfully cut my Christmas Eve morning - 50k short - not much running after that.
585 for the month (Goal was a lot more) 5,268 for 2009
Long dead ... But my stench lingers !

Thanks for pulling this together, Carolyn!
2009 was a good rebuild year for me. Spring injury, restart from scratch on May 17, marathon finish 28-wks later on November 28 with best time in over 4 years.
December miles - 99.2 miles
2009 miles - 934.8
2009 RA PRs
10/25/09 Evergreen Pumpkin Run (10 miles) 1:15:07
11/28/09 Northern Central Trail Marathon 3:37:46
12/27/09 Manatee River Run (5 miles) 35:06
Dec 09 - 115.5 miles Due to some injuries and Marathon taper/recovery, lowest since June.
2009 - 1501 Made 1500 after probably 500 in 2008.
PRs - 5k,10k, 5mile, 15k, 10 mile, half, marathon. Probably best were 5 mile goal race in Jul 37:09 and Half in Sept 1:46.
PRs were pretty soft so 2010 will need some higher quality work now that decent base.

yes, hally some of us other minimalists noticed.
In particular, you beat me by 2X better this year.
However, after a 5K on 1/1/10, I'm back on winter taper.
otherwise, good luck for January.
