3 days in a row, and my first early morning in a long time. It’s disturbing that I enjoy the process of running early. Great podcast with Simmons and Bob Ryan talking about the Heat streak, Jerry West, and a good 10 minutes on Bill Russell. Clearly not in very good shape as I normally start picking it up in Springvale but just didn’t have it in me. I’ve obviously got some work ahead of me but at least I can see the hand in front of my face at 6am.

LBJ got mauled last night. Of course, it's funny because he pretty much initiates all the contact. It's kind of funny because on the play with Heinrich, I don't even think he was going to shoot. He was trying to run him over because he knew his feet weren't set and he was moving backwards. I'm always a little confused about the implementation of NBA rules. LBJ gets whacked across the face nowhere near the ball many times, no flagrant. LBJ puts his shoulder into a screen, flagrant.

Hearing him whine after was great. It reminded me that behind that unbelievable talent, he still has work to do on the mental part of the game. Can you imagine Bird saying that crap? He'd just go after the guy and then talk a little smack about the cheap shots after the game to the media.

Goes to show you how much people dislike the guy. He goes for 32, shoots 65% from the floor, and I'm giving him shit because he got tackled 4x. Poor bastard.
