Lost 4 nil vs Gordon North Sydney. We had 10 but I had rod along to umpire. they had 11 but the clubhouse provided an umpire, and they led 4 nil at half time. Michale sharkey had to warm up for the next game, so they umpired the second half, and with 10 men it was a nil all draw...hmmm we did them a favour! I had a great shot in the second half, after good lead up and controlled it in the circle, and wham, but the goalie pulled off a miraclesave, it was one inch inside the post going 100mph and after he got a toe to it it went trhough the net and out of the ground. bugger but well hit! and I saved one off the line on a short corner at the other end! lots of involvement felt a bit stiff after yesterday and had too much too drink so had the reluctance to run but did an ok job nonetheless. Megan then played at 5pm, poor thing pulled her calf again, possibly the same spot or near to it as before, trip away now severely in doubt, gee that really sucks! had pizza with the kids when we finally got home and organised. otherwise it was fun watching them play, i sat with susans husband wayne is it, and had a coupla beers, good time unitl megan got hurt...
