I timed the first mile at 7:30, a mile between 2 and 3 at 7:30, and the same mile at 8:00 on the second loop. This was a tough pace, with some breaks. I am loving the fast hill pace now. Maybe there is a faster race pace in me. Forgot my water bottle and dropped just a plastic Big Y spring water bottle at the modern pumphouse, which worked fine. Popped 3 endurolytes before the repeat and had a great surge at 1:15. Slow is truly a habit that I can break.
