Temp 42 Winds Calm.

Sixty minutes at Easy Effort. Sleepy, coffee didn't work. Tight, stretching didn't increase range of motion. Cocooned in gear and hit the streets. Quads, glutes, and hams dead by about a mile in. Result of yesterday morning's fast 6th mile and last nights weight lifting. Nothing special needed today, so just jogged it out at the slower pace. Look to be fresh for Tempo Run on Thursday.

Worked triceps and core in weight session last night. Had read a lot about one-legged squats in various weight workouts for runners. Never tried them. Went with 3 sets using just the bar on my Smith Machine. Lots of coordination involved. Started to get some feel for the movement by the third set. Want to try them a couple more times before forming an opinion.
