Temp 35 (30) Wind 6 mph.

20/40/20 Aerobic Run. Nice morning. Considering its early January, may have to call it "perfect". Warm-up of 2.22 miles in 20:00 minutes. Extra surge to shake off extra rust from restless night.

Today's 3/4s effort is all hills. Working a zig-zag loop through The Orchards and Williams Addition. Splits 7:29 / 7:20 / 7:19 / 7:16 / 7:07 / 3:29 (7:06). Very happy with even/negative splits on very uneven terrain. Cardio solid and even start to finish. Legs started to leak a little air around the 36:00-37:00 mark.

First real workout in the Brooks. Comfortable shoe. Foot strike heavy at times and hips were getting way too far out in front on the downhills, but had that adjusted and back under control after about 15:00 minutes. Can fix a lot of problems when out this long at this effort.

Morning traffic starting to stir. Need to get it in. Cool-down of 1.58 miles in 14:13. Weights (arms) later today.
