Both of my previous bouts with Covid were basically Christmas thru New Years. Vitaly, I just heard an office party in Warminster was cancelled when 16 of their 55 workers tested positive. Others are still testing.

Fred - nice run and good luck on your trail race tomorrow!
Mike - well, it's pretty clear that office might be the source of the COVID spread, canceling the party is not going to help at this point

This is why I haven't attended a single office event so far this fall, not even large in-person meetings, and have to wonder that they keep scheduling them. It's tough - some people clearly want to go back to the old normal and accept the risk of Covid as part of everyday life. With two parents in their late 80's, that's not a risk I'm ready to take, but I understand the human nature side of things. Maybe I'm just a late follower.

Fred - I don't blame you. This place is an event facility My wife told me about a leadership meeting overseas, where the entire team came back with Covid.

I haven't attended a single office event since before the CoVid pandemic started. If it wasn't for Teams meetings I wouldn't know what over half the current staff looked like.
DW's MRI took "for ever" this afternoon and results not expected before next Tuesday or Wednesday. Finished up only fitting in 4.3 miles this evening before dinner. Hoping to get opportunity to try a longer run this weekend.
Started running at age 60.

I’ve been to an office party in November, I think the cold I had later that month was unrelated, but who knows.
Quick - nice un yesterday
I ran 2 miles with 4 strides and 0.25 miles @5k pace

Morning! I have 3 or 5 later.
Vitaly, nice workout.
Quick, ugh on the MRI and results taking so long.
Fred, I would be like that. We are heading to my friend's party tonight; hoping I don't get sick. Still holding strong with no Covid.
mjhaston, hope you are feeling better.

I won my race today! Not just age group, but first overall! I've never done that before. Race report posted.
Fantastic! Great report too.
Proper trail races certainly sort out the men from the boys (and girls).
9 TM miles for me today. Trying to get into marathon training mode on the TM.
Damaris - Hope the workout goes well. Good luck on keeping your streak going.
Mike, Vitaly - Good luck at tomorrow's race.
Quick - Thanks and good luck on your FM training with the TM.
Not to make excuses for my kid, but he's still dealing with a cough from his late November cold and hasn't been running much. Plus, I think I psyched him out a bit the way I ran hard up the first hill; something he needs to work on, but he's only 17.
Fred - he's totally got age on his side, but today you prevailed!
Damaris - hope your run went well!
Mike - how are you and your wife are doing, any improvement?
Quick - nice long run!
Fred - Awesome Spartan run this morning And here I complain about having to make one turnaround on a course!
Damaris - Enjoy the 3 or 5!
Quick - That's nice long TM run.
Vitaly - Nice shake up this morning. Are you ready for tomorrow? Good luck.
My wife and I are feeling improved today. I'm probably a day ahead of her. My head is foggy and throat sore. If I'm not so foggy, I may try a short trot tomorrow.
Mike - good to hear, one day at a time!
I'm as ready as I'm going to be, it's going to be another warm(er) day, oh well.

Mike - Apologies for forgetting your illness when wishing you luck in the race tomorrow. To clarify, the switchbacks I spoke of were not full turnarounds, but zigzags in the trail to get up the steep hill.
